Following the success of our previous Australian Medicare article, we decided to start a series on the subject of national healthcare systems and their specificities.
The second installment of this series is the French Sécurité Sociale, which was ranked No. 1 by the World Health Organization in 2000 – article here. Beloved by the French, its efficiency inspired many healthcare reforms around the world along the years. One particularity which other systems have not yet copied is its offering international healthcare to expatriates through its CFE program.
